We are strategic designers who bring Human Centricity to everything we do.
At Huddle, we use human-centred, qualitative research to dig deep into human behaviour and understand the systemic reasons behind a problem. By taking a broader perspective with our research, we can better understand the whole ecosystem and then design positive experiences, services and strategies that align with real needs.
Together we do the hard work to make life easier for your customers and those you serve. With this approach, we can design meaningful solutions that last.
Human. Systemic. Design.
- Being systemic allows us to see and design for the patterns and connections in broad ecosystems.
- Being human-centred allows us to design for the people in the system and help manifest the outcomes or value they seek by addressing the motivations that underpin behaviour.
- When we design, we are able to work with the complexity that these human ecosystems naturally bring because the design method allows us to work within the ambiguity and complexity.
We use human-centred, qualitative research to dig deep into human behaviour and understand the systemic reasons behind a problem. Informed by our founder, Dr Melis Senova’s background in neuroscience and engineering, we take a broad perspective to our work.
This helps us see the whole ecosystem and then design positive experiences, services and strategies that align with real needs—the needs that underpin behaviour. We work to uncover what is in peoples’ hearts and minds and then we design meaningful approaches to supporting experiences and behaviour change that lasts.
Our story
Huddle was founded by Dr Melis Senova and Cam Incoll in 2009 when they brought together their experience and perspectives on human-centred design and started to rethink what the world of business would look like with staff and customer experience at it's core.
We created Huddle as an agency that would embody what it meant to be a human-centred business and then go out and help other organisations achieve the same thing. A place that was inclusive, approachable and open, and let people bring their whole selves to work.
Fast forward over a decade and Huddle remains a pioneering Melbourne-based human-centred design organisation that works across the world. With the belief that design is a toolkit to solve complex challenges facing humanity, we bring multidisciplinary teams together in a creative framework to solve these major problems that can't be solved with one perspective.
And just like how our team leads their own practice within and external to Huddle, our mission is to do meaningful work and positively affect humanity—this motivates us to help you shine a light on the meaningful work you do, too.
We can use human-centred design to help support you in many ways:
