Special guests, Nick and Bec Petrucco, discuss their very personal journey and experiences with mental health, corporate life and what it means to be a human. If you’ve ever felt like a fraud, like you’re running a race with an invisible broken leg and no one knows what’s really going on, or feel like there’s gotta be more to it than this, this show is for you. We talk very practically about what the experience of depression and anxiety is like, especially as a successful corporate leader, what it’s like to fight the struggle not the issue and how to turn that around, and how to move toward living an authentic, resilient and purposeful life. Nic leads a management consulting firm HCMC where Nic coaches leaders and their teams to constructively work together to lead meaningful change in modern complex organisations. HCMC is dedicated to affecting positive change in the lives of others, the communities we live in and in the world we share and also has a number of social enterprise projects. As a leader in HCMC, Bec has been instrumental in facilitating major fundraising events and contributing to all of our social projects in Africa, Afghanistan, Cambodia India and Australia. Bec also has a background in nursing and has had leadership roles in Intensive Care and High Dependency units. Nick and Bec are parents of three.
